Attention all student drivers: If you are driving to school, please do not park in the Central Coast New Tech parking lot. Student parking is only allowed in the area west of the Admin building in front of the gym. Cars parked in unauthorized areas will be ticketed.
ALL vehicles parked on campus MUST have an NHS parking permit. Permits are $15 – tickets for not having a permit are $20. Pick up your application in the Activities Office.
Clubs and Classes

What is GSA? It stands for the Gay-Straight Alliance, and it's a club on campus dedicated to making NHS an inclusive, safe, and friendly school for all students. Everyone is welcome to attend. We meet every Tuesday at lunch in Ms. Kandel's room 135.
Hey Freshmen! Do you want to make a difference on campus? Do you want to be part of the decision making too? Then run for a Freshman Class office. Freshman packets are out in the Activities Office now! Get yours and make a difference on and off campus!
Community Service
Students needing Community Service hours - Nipomo Cowboys Youth Football Team will have a Jamboree tomorrow, Saturday, August 30th. You can earn community service hours by being a volunteer helper at the festivities! To sign-up, go to the Records office during break or lunch, and place your name/number on the list.
Sports
Travel on down to Santa Maria tonight to Pioneer Valley High School and support your Titan Football JV and Varsity teams as they play in their first game of the year! JV game is at 4:00 and Varsity is at 7:00.

On Saturday the 30th, the annual Dig for Delaney Alumni Girls Volleyball game will be played in the Johnson Gym at 5:00. Entry is $5 which goes to fund scholarships for senior NHS Varsity Girls volleyball players. Come see talented alumni players as they challenge your current Varsity team! Find a current player on campus to purchase your ticket. Tri-tip dinners will be available for $8.
Attention Athletes: Cross Country tryouts end today. Please come out to the track at 3:10 and talk to Coach Rollinger for more information.
There will be a team meeting for girls interested in playing Soccer this season in the Forum on Thursday, September 4, from 12:14 pm–12:44 pm. Coach Lee will be reviewing and sharing information regarding the up-coming 2014-2015 season, the conditioning schedule this fall, team fundraising events, try-outs and the any available information regarding the Los Padres League Girls Soccer season. Please make plans to attend this very important meeting if you hope to try-out for the team!
All athletes planning to participate in any NHS sports practices or tryouts must have a 2014-15 sports clearance package on file with the Athletic Director. You may purchase your packet in the Activities Office for $40.
