ALL vehicles parked on campus MUST have an NHS parking permit. Permits are $15 – tickets for not having a permit are $20. Pick up your application in the Activities Office. Student parking is only allowed in the area west of the Admin building in front of the gym. Cars parked in unauthorized areas will be ticketed.

Come out to a lunchtime info meeting this Friday in room 110 to talk about Drama Departments’ new musical, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL. Yes, you heard right. We’re all in this together folks, so let’s get our head in the game and head to room 110 for info about auditions and the production. Everyone from the school is welcome to audition. Juniors and Seniors: A representative from Colorado Mesa University will be on campus Thursday, 9/4, during 3rd period in the library. Colorado Mesa has a very strong liberal arts program, as well as excellent technical programs that respond to today's vocational workforce. A sign-up sheet and presentation passes are available in the library.
Students...would you like to take a Cuesta College class right here on the NHS campus? For free? I thought so! The class is Introduction to Workplace Readiness, and will earn you 3 college credits and 10, (Count 'em, TEN) high school credits towards electives. The class will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00 - 5: 45 in the Forum. The first class meeting is Monday, September 8th. See your counselor for more details, or show up to the first class meeting. All grade levels are welcome!

Sports
There will be a team meeting for girls interested in playing Soccer this season in the Forum today from 12:14 pm–12:44 pm. Coach Lee will be reviewing and sharing information regarding the up-coming 2014-2015 season, the conditioning schedule this fall, team fundraising events, try-outs and the any available information regarding the Los Padres League Girls Soccer season. Please make plans to attend this very important meeting if you hope to try-out for the team! Go Titans!
All athletes planning to participate in any NHS sports practices or tryouts must have a 2014-15 sports clearance package on file with the Athletic Director. You may purchase your packet in the Activities Office for $40.
