Titans! This is the final week to register for the 1st Annual Color Me Happy Fun Run. We will have a pre-registration table tonight at 5:00pm in front of the football stadium and on Saturday (race day) beginning at 8:30am. The cost will be $35 this week for everyone. T-shirts will be given on a first come-first serve basis. Don’t be left out!

The Nipomo High School Titan Pep Band will be performing this weekend at the AG Harvest Festival! The Pep Band will play two 30 minute sets at the AG Village Gazebo on Saturday afternoon at 3:00 and 4:00. Come enjoy some good music and support he Titan Pep Band!

If your weekend isn’t already full, there is a funfilled family event/music festival scheduled at the Unocal Event Center in Santa Maria starting at 12:00 noon on Saturday, September 27th. Ticket price includes the concert featuring Karmin and several other artists. See Mrs. Carter in the office for information to buy one ticket for $10.00 and get two free.

Do you want to get involved in making major decisions on campus? If the answer is yes, then apply to be a member of the School Site Council. The School Site Council is primarily responsible for the development and continuous review of the Single Plan for Student Achievement. Applications are available on the Activities Office counter…they are due by noon on Friday, September 26th to Mrs. Carter.

Cal Lutheran University, located in Thousand Oaks, CA, is a selective institution offering degrees in liberal arts and sciences, rooted in the Lutheran tradition. A representative from Cal Lutheran will be on campus Monday, 9/29 during 5th period in the library. A signup sheet and presentation passes are available in the library.

Hey Titans, did you know that starting on Monday the gym will be open during lunch? On Monday and Wednesday be ready for some 3 on 3 basketball. Also, on Tuesday and Thursday you can dig it and play volleyball. So, mark your calendars to check out all that’s going on during lunch break in our very own Johnson Gym!

Sports
Tonight our Titan JV and Varsity Football teams will travel to Atascadero. Tomorrow our Cross Country team will run at the Blue Lagoon Invitational at UCSB. Good luck to all our Titan athletes!

This is a reminder that pre-season training camp for the Nipomo Girls Soccer team begins on Monday, September 29. Participants are expected to be dressed for practice by 3:30. On Mondays and Wednesdays meet Coach Owens outside the locker room for conditioning. On Tuesdays and Thursdays meet on the back fields at 3:30. Please bring running shoes, cleats, gloves (goalkeepers), water and warm clothes for the cooler evenings. Our primary focus will be fitness and fundamentals. As we progress, conditioning will continue as we turn our attention to key elements of the game. Our last day of pre-season training will be Thursday, November 6th.
