Hey Titans! Are you pumped about today’s football game? So are we!! Come on out to AG’s field tonight. Let’s take over the stands and wear all white in support of our football boys! Let’s pluck some Eagle feathers! See you there!

Reminder: All students driving to school must have a parking permit! Tickets are being distributed to unpermitted cars and cars parked in non-student parking areas.

If you had a school picture taken, please pick up your order or proofs today at lunch at the Activities Office outside windows.

Always wanted to go to Disneyland and dance the night away? Well look no further! Come to the Happiest Homecoming Dance on Earth October 11th. Tickets are $10 with an ASB sticker and $15 without until October 10th. If you’re late for this very important date, tickets at the door are $15 with an ASB sticker and $20 without. Come to the dance where dreams come true!

Homecoming Dance Guests passes are now available in the Activities Office. They are due no later than October 7th.

Are you interested in a career in Fashion, Visual Arts, Interior Design or Entertainment? A representative from FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising) will be on campus today during 3rd period in the library computer lab. A sign-up sheet and presentation passes are available in the library.

Protect yourself and your family this flu season! Free Flu shots are being provided by the County of San Luis Obispo on Sunday, October 5th from 1:00pm – 4:00pm at the South County Regional Center in Arroyo Grande. For more information, call 781-5500.

Clubs and Classes

Film club meets today in Mr. Pepo’s room, 40B. Do you want to act, write or direct? Then come on down!

October is LGBTQ History Month so the Gay-Straight Alliance is having a button design contest starting today, October 2nd. Pick up a contest form from the table in front of the Attendance office, and turn in your design to Ms. Kandel in room 135 by October 7th.

Juniors and Seniors - CSF applications are still being accepted through today. Pick up an application in room 107 or from Ms. Cuzick in the Attendance Office and return to either of these places by today.

Juniors and Seniors: Get the info you need for the career you want! Ever thought of a career in Agriculture, Automotive, Culinary Arts, Health Occupations, or Welding? Then come to Career Exploration Day at Allan Hancock College on Friday, October 10th from 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Sign-up sheets are in the counseling office. This is a FREE event and transportation will be provided. Don't let this opportunity pass you by!

Class of 2015! Yearbook is accepting your nominations for this year’s Senior Bests. Nomination forms are available on the Yearbook page of the NHS website – nominate your bests today!


Sports
Attention all ladies interested in playing softball this spring, come to an informational meeting next Thursday October 9th at the beginning of lunch in Coach Paradis' room 40C.

All girls interested in water polo meet Wednesday, October 8th, at lunch at the pool.

Attention all boys interested in playing soccer! Starting October 7th, open field will be every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:15 – 5pm. Please bring shin guards, cleats, tennis shoes and make sure your clearance packet is turned in. We will be meeting outside the boy’s locker room. If you have any questions, feel free to speak with Coach Veloz in room 115.

Sports today:

Big Game tonight for our JV and Varsity Football teams! Come to Arroyo Grande to watch these two teams battle it out. JV starts at 4:00 and Varsity at 7:00. Let’s fill the stands with Titan Rolling Thunder!!

Sports this weekend:

Girls JV Volleyball will host a tournament here on Saturday in Johnson Gym.

Cross Country will be running in the Richard C. Bruggs Invitational at SM Lake.
