Today is picture retake day! Take your form and go to staff room 21 at break or lunch to get yours done!

Hey Titans! Come out to the quad today at lunch to vote for your homecoming King and Queen!! All grade levels are able to vote.

Attention NHS! Are you ready for Homecoming? Be there to show off your Titan Spirit at our Homecoming Rally Friday, October 10th. Come dressed in your best Disney attire or class colors: Seniors – Pink or Red; Juniors – Blue; Sophomores – Purple; Freshmen – Green.

Titans! Are you ready to go to the happiest place on earth? Come join us at the Disneyland Rally on Friday in the gym! Come ride Space Mountain, or go on the Indiana Jones ride, hang out in New Orleans Square or walk through the Princess Castle. Hope to see you there in your Disney costumes!

Want to be part of the Grand Opening for Mt. Olympus? What is that? Mt. Olympus is a spirit section for all students who dress in Titan Gear. Grand Opening will be October 10th during the Homecoming game! Don’t miss out on all the perks with being involved in Mt. Olympus!

Hey Y’all! Do you like to be entertained? Have fun or just be happy? Then come to the football game this Friday to watch the homecoming half-time show! See amazing floats our classes have designed, crowns being presented and candy being tossed! Come experience the Happiest Homecoming on Earth!

The Homecoming Dance is the perfect fit for your October 11th Saturday. Make sure to get your ticket in the Activities Office. Tickets are $10 with an ASB sticker and $15 without until October 10th. If you wait to get your tickets at the door, they will be $15 with an ASB sticker and $20 without. Come be a part of the Happiest Homecoming on Earth!

All ASB debts must be paid in full to be eligible to purchase a dance ticket.

Let’s smother the Pirates in Titan pride and spirit tomorrow by wearing your class colors or by dressing up as a Disney character!

Join in the fun at the South County Youth Coalition’s 17th Annual Fun Run/Walk at Nipomo Regional Park on Saturday. The course begins and ends at the softball field. Registration check-in is from 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. and the cost is $20 which goes to help local youth programs and families in need. Call 474-3799 for more information.

Clubs and Classes

This is an awesome opportunity for all Titans - Do you have what it takes to be an Oceano/Five Cities Elks Lodge Teenager of the Month? Applications are available in the Counseling Office file cabinet and on the NHS website. You will also have a scholarship chance for $2,000 if you become the Teenager of the Year! Don't miss out . . . march to the office and pick up your application today!

Do you like Adventure? Join the Adventure Club today at lunch in Mr. Houchin’s room, 114, and get ready for fun!

Students taking the CELDT test on October 20th who improve 1 or 2 levels on your CELDT scores may be entered in a drawing for a $50 gift card and 2 annual passes to Universal Studios.

Juniors and Seniors: Get the info you need for the career you want at Career Exploration Day at Allan Hancock College on Friday, October 10th from 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Juniors! Are you planning on going to a four-year college? Then you should be taking the PSAT test next Wednesday, October 15th, right here at Nipomo High School. Tickets for the test are $20, and can be purchased in the Activities office. The test will run from 8:30 - 11:30 here at NHS.

Community Service

Students who need Community Service hours, sign up on a list in the Records Office to help at the Nipomo Cowboys Football home games @ Nipomo Park on Saturdays. Dates of the home games are listed on the sign-up sheet.
Sports

Attention all ladies interested in playing softball this spring, come to an informational meeting today at the beginning of lunch in Coach Paradis' room 40C.

Attention all boys interested in playing soccer! Open field will be every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:15 – 5pm. Meet outside the boy’s locker room. If you have questions, speak with Coach Veloz in room 115.
