General

Last Call!! There are still a lot of school photos that have not been picked up. Please come to the Activities Office to get yours.

Want to have some fun Friday after school? Come out to the tennis courts and cheer for our varsity tennis team as Julia Johnson, a freshman, plays against Mr. Hogeboom and Mr. Denno takes on Mikayla Costello. Work up a hunger and buy some treats from our bake sale. Brings some friends and show your spirit.

Clubs and Classes

Attention all ETS participants there will be no workshop today at lunch.

Do you like adventure? Come to Mr. Houchin’s room, 114, on Thursdays at lunch and join the Adventure Club as they get ready for fun!

Hey Link Crew leaders! Do you want to know who your freshman group is? Come to room 40D at lunch on Friday, October 17th for more information on the rest of this year!

For all students who are taking the CELDT test, if you would like an opportunity to win a $50 gift card and 2 annual passes to Universal Studios! All you have to do is improve 1 or 2 levels on your CELDT scores on October 20th.

Seniors

Attention Seniors: Not sure if a four-year university is right for you? Wondering about how to pay for college? Then come to Senior Promise Day this Friday at Cuesta College! Get the chance to meet faculty, talk to admissions and financial aid representatives, and current students. Learn about "The Promise", a local scholarship for every new SLO county high school graduate paying all fees for a FULL YEAR! You heard correctly, get your first year of college FREE! Don't miss this great opportunity. Permission slips available in the Counseling Department until Thursday.

Attention Seniors! Final voting for the 2015 Senior Bests is now open on the NHSTitans Yearbook webpage. Only seniors are eligible to vote and only one time – no voter fraud. Polls will close on November 1st.

Community Service

Students who need community service hours come on in and sign up on the list in the Record’s Office to help at the Nipomo Cowboys Football home games at Nipomo Park on Saturdays. Dates of the games are listed on the sign-up sheet.

Sports

Boys interested in playing soccer – come to the field every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:15 – 5pm. Meet outside the boy’s locker room.
