Do you have plans for Saturday night? Of course you do…you plan on being in Titan Stadium with all the other Titan fans rooting on our Titan Football team as the play to win the CIF Championship. General Admission tickets are $12, Students with ID and kids 5-13 are $5 kids under 5 are free. You can avoid the lines on Saturday and purchase your tickets early from Mrs. Teixeira in the Activities office before school, at break or lunch or after school.
Hey Titans, looking to sport some new Titan gear at Saturday’s Championship game? Well look no further! Titan Shirts (with a NEW design) will be sold on the quad Friday at break and lunch. Shirts are $10 dollars each!
Show your TITAN PRIDE by dressing in Titan Gear and school colors this Friday and show your support of your Titan Football boys as they head to the CIF Championship game.
Got Spirit? If so, come out to the quad at lunch on Friday for a Pep Rally to get some Titan Spirit and to get pumped for Saturday’s CIF Championship Game.
Guess what everyone? Disney's High School Musical is coming to Nipomo High! That's right, the show you grew up loving and singing to will perform on our very own stage, December 5 through the 13th. Check posters for details! Heads-up: due to our awesome Titan football's triumph, we will be moving our December 6th evening show to Thursday the 11th. Come on down and getcha head in the game!
The canned food drive has been extended until the end of this week! Bring in your cans to your 2nd period class by this Friday. This is a class competition and prizes will be awarded to the top three classes. Hooray!
Attention students! Improve your grades and get your homework done and get teacher run tutoring if you need it Monday through Friday in the library from 3:00 to 4:00.
Clubs and Classes
Adventure Club meets today at lunch in room 40B.
There will be a mandatory Internet PE class meeting to go over final schedule, last module and makeups for classwork. Come to the Gym at lunch on Friday to meet up with Mrs. Owens.
Nipomo Bigs, don’t forget! Big Brothers Big Sisters comes back to Nipomo Elementary this week on Friday, 3:30-4:30. Your Littles have missed you over the break and can’t wait to see you again this Friday!
Friday Night Live is hosting a teen clothing drive for local families in need. Time to clean out your closet and make a difference! Place your gently used donations in the red “present” barrel in the admin office near attendance. The drive ends December 5th.
Community Service
Tuesday, December 8th is Nipomo Food Distribution Day. They start organizing at 1:30 and go until 6:15. If there is a shift you would like to work, please let Mrs. Brooks know.
First shift: 1:30 - 2:30 set-up
Second shift: 2:00 - 3:00 - unloading
Third shift: 2:30 - 4:00 - packing
Fourth shift: 4:00 - 6:00 - distribution
Fifth shift: 5:15 - 6:15 - clean up
The Salvation Army is looking for “Bell Ringers” for several locations. If you are interested in volunteering to be a bell ringer, please pick up an information sheet in the Activities Office for times and locations. You must be 16 or older.
