Guess what everyone? Disney's High School Musical is coming to Nipomo High! That's right, the show you grew up loving and singing to will perform on our very own stage, December 5 through the 13th. Check posters for details! Heads-up: due to our awesome Titan football's triumph, we will be moving our December 6th evening show to Thursday the 11th. Come on down and getcha head in the game!
Attention students! Improve your grades and get your homework done and get teacher run tutoring if you need it Monday through Friday in the library from 3:00 to 4:00.

The book club is having our next meeting on Friday, December 12th before school at 7:15 in the library. Come talk about the last book and get December’s book selection
The NHS music students and Mr. McDonald would like to formally invite you to our Winter Music Concert this upcoming Tuesday, December 9th. The concert starts at 6:00 pm in Olympic Hall, and will feature the Pep Band, Pop Music Ensembles, and Jazz Ensemble. This concert will be the first to feature some original compositions by student composers - very cool! Tickets are $5 for Faculty/Staff/Students, $7 for Community Members, all children under 12 are admitted free with parents. The evening is child/family friendly, and the whole concert should run about an hour and 30 minutes at most.
Community Service
Tuesday, December 8th is Nipomo Food Distribution Day. They start organizing at 1:30 and go until 6:15. If there is a shift you would like to work, please let Mrs. Brooks know.
First shift: 1:30 - 2:30 set-up
Second shift: 2:00 - 3:00 - unloading
Third shift: 2:30 - 4:00 - packing
Fourth shift: 4:00 - 6:00 - distribution
Fifth shift: 5:15 - 6:15 - clean up
The Salvation Army is looking for “Bell Ringers” for several locations. If you are interested in volunteering to be a bell ringer, please pick up an information sheet in the Activities Office for times and locations. You must be 16 or older.
Sports
Congratulations to Taylor Witcher for finishing 25th out of 122 runners on the Mt. SAC course at CIF Finals last Saturday. She had personal best on the course with a time of 19:13. Good job, Taylor for crushing it!
Attention Cross Country athletes, there is a meeting in room 133 at the beginning of lunch to discuss banquet details. Please bring your uniform if you haven't already turned them in.
There is a boy’s golf meeting this Friday at 12:30 in room 126. All boys interested in playing golf this spring must attend.
