Today is Black Out Monday – blend into the darkness at the rally by wearing all black!
Tuesday is Flannel Tuesday. Dress up like a scarecrow and wear your favorite flannel.
Wednesday is Dress to Un-impress day. Roll out of bed and throw on your favorite lazzzy outfit.
Thursday is Squad Day. Show who is the best squad on campus by twinning with your squad!
Titan Gear Friday – Game Day! Show your Titan Pride by wearing Titan gear or colors!
Homecoming Dance tickets are on sale now $10 for ASB card holders, $15 for non ASB. Be sure you are eligible to purchase one! You must have your student debts all paid up. Check the list at the Activities Office if you think you may have a balance due!
Guest Passes for the Homecoming Dance are now available on the Activities Office counter. They are due no later than October 13th at 3pm.
If you missed picture day or are not happy with how your photos turned out, you are in luck! Retake day is October 22nd! Pick up a form from the attendance or activities office.
If you purchased an ASB sticker and it does not show on your ID card, please come to the Activities Office and get your card remade. You must have your card with the ASB emblem on it to get into the game for free.
Cuesta College is holding their annual Cuesta Promise Day for all
local seniors Friday, October 23!! Tour the campus and learn more about the Promise Scholarship which guarantees a free full year of college tuition to all Nipomo High School graduates. The bus leaves NHS at 8:45 and returns at 1:30. Please be aware that if you plan to attend the field trip, you must have your own transportation home after arriving back at Nipomo High School. October 23rd is a minimum day, and the buses taking students home will have already left by 11:45. Pick-up a field trip permission slip at the Counseling Office today and return it to the Counseling Office no later than the end of lunch on Tuesday,
October 13th!! First 50 students to sign up will be able to attend this
field trip. DON'T MISS OUT!
Clubs and Classes
Attention Actors! Auditions for the Greek Tragedy “Media” will be held today and tomorrow in the Forum after school. For more information and to sign up for an audition time, go to room 110.
Juniors--The PSAT Test will be offered at Nipomo High School on Wednesday, October 14th, from 8:00 - 11:00 in the morning. The PSAT is the practice test for the SAT College admissions tests. All juniors who take the test will automatically be entered into the National Merit Scholarship competition. Tickets for juniors who take the test are $20.00, and can be purchased in the activities office. All sophomores at NHS will be taking the test on the 14th as well, and sophomore test fees will be paid for by the school district. Remember to test your best!
Seniors
You should have received an order form for Senior t-shirts and sweatshirts in your Government or Econ classes. If you do not have a Government or Econ class, see Mr. McConnell for your form. Order your shirt or hoodie now! Prices are $8 for short sleeved t’s, $10 for long sleeved t’s and $25 for hoodies. Turn in your order form to your gov/econ teacher or Mrs. Teixeira in the Activities Office by October 28th.
Seniors, need money for college? Many National Scholarships are accepting applications and have upcoming deadlines rapidly approaching! Check out the NHS website under academics to see the newest "National Scholarships" listing. This has a calendar of dates for you to apply and earn yourself some money!

Know how to swim? Want to play a sport this winter? Why not give girls water polo a try. All girls interested in playing water polo this year please come to Coach Bellew's room #138 on Friday at lunch to get more info. If you can't make it Friday stop by during lunch or break any other day.
Planning on playing sports this year? Be sure to purchase your Sports Clearance Packet in the Activities Office. The $40 you pay includes the cost of your ASB card!
