Halloween is just around the corner and what’s scarier than buying a yearbook and then not being in it? Purchase your yearbook on or before October 31st and the yearbook staff guarantees you’ll be in the book at least 3 times or your money back! Prices are currently $65 with an ASB sticker and $70 without. Prices will go up November 1st.

There are still school pictures that have not been picked up. Please come get yours if you paid for them!

Ready to get fit? Project Teen Health is a new program here on campus that helps students reach their fitness goals. Project Teen Health will host exercise classes right here on campus Wednesdays after school. The first Project Teen Health kick-start workout starts Wednesday, the 28th! You will gain energy, build muscle, and improve your endurance during this fun workout that incorporates weights, cardio, and core exercises. All students of all fitness levels are encouraged to come try it out! See you Wednesday from 3-4 in room 103! Bring friends!

Happy Red Ribbon Week Nipomo! Red Ribbon Week is a week devoted to positive and healthy choices. Friday Night Live will be hosting a series of events to promote positivity. Our theme is "Love Yourself!" Today is Healthy Relationships day. FNL members will be surveying students on what they think a healthy relationship looks like and show how you can share the love!

Did you apply for Renaissance? Are you ready for your pool party to celebrate your academic achievements? Come to the quad at lunch today to pick up your Renaissance perks card. This card will be your ticket into your celebration pool party Friday, October 30th! See you at lunch and congratulations!

“Trick or Treat for Unicef” this month! Look for a Key Club member with an orange box marked Unicef to donate your loose change.

Attention Juniors and Seniors! Come to SLO County College Night at Cuesta College and attend free workshops on important topics like paying for college, completing a college application, and how to transfer to a four year university. There will be free giveaways and much more! Monday, November 2nd from 5:30-8:00pm. Bus will be leaving Nipomo High School at 4:45pm. Visit the Counseling Office to sign up!

Interested in becoming an Electrician? Come to the Forum today to hear Doug Drube, owner of Drube Electric, share information on careers in the Electrical field and answer any questions. Sign up in the Counseling office today!

Seniors

Jostens will be on campus Thursday and Friday during lunch. Girls orders are due on Thursday and boys orders are due Friday. All you need is a $60 deposit to order all of your graduation items and your ring.

Seniors, looking for FREE money for college?! We have two scholarship opportunities just waiting for your application. Both the Nipomo Chamber of Commerce and Oceano/Five Cities Elks Lodge are looking for Seniors of the year FROM NIPOMO HIGH SCHOOL. Applications are in the "Scholarship Central" filing cabinet in front of Mrs. Lattimer's desk. Applications are due to Mrs. Conrad November 6th. Get yours today!

Order your shirt or hoodie now! Get order forms on the Activites Office counter and turn in your order form and payment to Mrs. Teixeira in the Activities Office by October 28th.
