Freshmen...The PSAT 10 test will be offered here at Nipomo High School on Wednesday, February 24th, 2nd through 4th periods. The PSAT 10 is the practice test for the SAT, and is designed to be taken by freshmen in the spring of the 9th grade year. Tickets are $20.00, and can be purchased in the Activities Office. This is a great opportunity to see how well you are prepared for college and the actual SAT which you will take your junior year.
Attention ALL ETS students. There is an ETS workshop in the computer lab today during lunch. If you picked up a permission slip for either the CSU LA fieldtrip or personal statement workshop last week, you may turn them in during this time or after school at the Career Center. If you are interested in attending the fieldtrip or personal statement workshop, please see your ETS advisor at the Career Center. The CSU LA fieldtrip is open to Freshmen and the personal statement workshop is open to Juniors

Seniors
The Class of 2016 Senior Panoramic photo will be taken on Thursday, February 18th in the stadium at noon. Order forms are available from our Government or Econ teacher, or from Mrs. Hatfield in room 150. If you want to buy a copy, please bring your order form and payment with you the day of the photo.
Seniors who are going to Cuesta next year - the deadline to apply for the Cuesta Promise Scholarship is March 2nd. Cuesta will pay all of your tuition for the first year, but only if you get the FAFSA and Cuesta promise scholarship application done by March 2nd. The application is available in the Cuesta website. See your counselor if you need help. Hey, it's only money!
Seniors who are going to Hancock next year - there will be a new student orientation in the forum this Friday, February 19th. This is one of the steps necessary for you to get priority registration. Sign up in the counseling office for a spot. Additionally, the Hancock placement test (START) will be offered here at Nipomo High on Friday, March 26th during 5th and 6th period. This is also necessary for priority registration. Sign up in the counseling office.

Destination Imagination Regional Tournament needs volunteers to be score room runners for our tournament at AGHS on Saturday Feb 27th. Many shifts available depending on hours needed.
