Attention ETS students: It's Wednesday, which means there is an ETS workshop today during lunch in the computer lab. For those of you who are Juniors, permission slips for an ACT prep course workshop were mailed out to you last week. Please see your advisor in the Career Center or during the lunch workshop if you have any questions about the ACT prep course or want to turn in your completed permission slip
AP students, you MUST register and PAY for your AP exams by today at 9pm. If you do not pay, your exams will be canceled. Need help, see Mrs. Conrad 2-3 period in room 5.
Hey Renaissance students! Did you forget to pick up your perk card? If so, you can pick it up at Mrs. Latimer’s desk in the counseling office.
Interested in joining the ASB executive council next year? If so, Executive Officer election packets are out and on the Activities Office counter. They are due no later than Thursday, March 17th. Only next year’s Juniors and Seniors can apply.
All students going to the Si Se Puede conference this Friday at Cuesta, the T-shirts have arrived! Come to the counseling office to pick up your shirt at break or lunch. Make sure to wear your shirt on Friday. Also, make sure to turn in your field trip permission slip to Mrs. Lattimer in counseling. On Friday, check in to your 1st period class for attendance, and then report to Olympic Hall to Mr. Hubbell.
All NHS juniors will be taking the ASVAB test on Tuesday, March 22nd. Juniors will need to report to their 1st period class and then walk over to the gym by 8 am. The test will give student results based on student career interests and abilities. The results will not be released to the military! A letter has been sent home informing families of juniors about this great opportunity.
Special Olympics Best Buddies-- Practices will be held on Wednesdays and Fridays during 5th Period. See Mr. Hubbell for more details.
Attention sophomores: NHS will be offering the PLAN test to all interested sophomores on Thursday March 17th. The PLAN test is a preliminary ACT test, and is a great opportunity to practice for the ACT. Stop by the activities office to register for the test. There is a $20 test fee. Please see your counselor if you have any questions.
The Special Olympics will be held on May 6th. Please come support your Nipomo athletes! If you are interested in purchasing one of our shirts for $10 to support the students of room 200, please see Mrs. Teixeira in the activities office

Seniors, want free money? This FRIDAY is the last chance to turn in your NHS scholarship application. This one app lets you apply for 9 scholarships all at once.
Want even more money? The Caners Scholarship Foundation is due Wednesday, Woman's Club of AG due Friday and Elks Student of the Month applications are due March 25th. Pick up your copies in the counseling office or go online to the Academics tab, click scholarships and get your money hunt on.
Attention Seniors! If you are interested in going to our Grad Nite at Harry Potter World, you have until the end of this week to get yourself signed up. If you need help getting the money together, see Mr. McConnell in room #113. Again, time and space is limited, so sign up now or miss out on this fun opportunity!

March is National Athletic Training month. To celebrate, please help our Athletic Trainer Amy Silveira collect lightly used athletic shoes throughout the month of March. They will be sent to One World Running, a non-profit organization that provides shoes to those in need in the US and abroad. Items may be dropped off after school in Mrs. Silveira’s office. Please see her for more information.
