Students...Cuesta College will be offering three "Mini" Courses this spring. Each class meets for three Wednesdays from 3:30 - 6:30, beginning April 13th. The classes are called Communicating with People, Team Building, and Time Management. A student who takes all three courses can earn 5 high school credits. See your counselor to sign up or for more info.

Students! There is a new club on campus. It is called the Nipomo United Club. The purpose of the club is to motivate students to be successful in high school and college, as well as celebrate cultural diversity and tolerance on campus and in the community. All students and grade levels are welcome. The meeting will be in the Forum on Monday, April 11th at lunch.
The Special Olympics will be held on May 6th. Support your Nipomo athletes by purchasing one of our shirts for $10 to support the students of room 200. The shirts will be on sale this week only, ending April 8! Please see Mrs. Teixeira in the activities office.
Juniors and Seniors! Do you want to get a job this summer AND take a college course at Cuesta College? Then the Bridge Program at Cuesta is for you! Students will take a 3 Unit career planning course, complete a PAID job assignment on the Cuesta campus, and learn about college programs and resources that are available to them. Transportation is available to Cuesta. See you counselor for more information!

Community Service
Tuesday April 12, 2016 is Food Distribution Day at Nipomo Elementary School. Teams start organizing at 1:30 and go till about 6:15. If you can help out, please let Rosemary Cleaves at 860-951-2100 know which shift or shifts you'd like to work. They appreciate all the help they can get. They need help with all shifts. The set-up includes sorting of clothing and wrap up shifts could use some additional people.
