Hey Basketball fans! Come out to the Kiwanis Central Coast All-Star game this Saturday, April 9th here at our own Nipomo High’s Johnson Gym! Nipomo High's all-county senior guard Mason Gallegos will be representing the North squad as they take on the All-Stars from the south. The girl’s All-Star game will start at 5:00, and the boys will start at 7:00. There will even be a slam dunk contest! Tickets are $8.00, but only $4.00 for students. Let's go Mason!
Clubs and Classes
Come out and test your Frisbee skills every Friday from 3-5:00 on the athletic fields!
Students! There is a new club on campus. It is called the Nipomo United Club. All students and grade levels are welcome. The meeting will be in the Forum on Monday, April 11th at lunch.
The Special Olympics will be held on May 6th. Support your Nipomo athletes by purchasing one of our shirts for $10 to support the students of room 200. The shirts will be on sale this week only in the activities office.
Seniors
Seniors - A representative from Grand Canyon University will be in the library during lunch on Thursday, April 14th. He will be bringing pizza! In order for him to know how much pizza to bring you must sign up in the library by Monday, April 11th. Please plan on signing up, and coming to hear about all of the wonderful opportunities Grand Canyon University has to offer (and have pizza!).
Seniors--scholarship deadlines are coming and going quickly so check out our website for applications-Nipomo Rotary, Nipomo Women's Club, ACE Hardship, CA Women for Ag, Sigma Pi Alpha, NHS Ag Friends, NHS Key Club, Ellis Hickam Memorial, and Congregation Beth David's Social Action Committee are DUE in the next two weeks. Start applying ASAP!!!
Jostens will be here at lunch on Thursday, April 28th to distribute pre-purchased caps, gowns and graduation items.

Community Service
Tuesday April 12, 2016 is Food Distribution Day at Nipomo Elementary School. Teams start organizing at 1:30 and go till about 6:15. If you can help out, please let Rosemary Cleaves at 860-951-2100 know which shift or shifts you'd like to work.
