It's May Madness time! Yes, that's right, the 2nd Annual "Clash of the Titans" 3-on-3 basketball tournament has finally arrived! The tournament will start the week of May 9th, and there will be both a boys and girls division. Sign-up sheets are available in the counseling office from Mr. Hubbell. If you wait until the end of the year, prices will go up and there is no guarantee that you will be able to buy a book.
This Thursday is Cinco de Mayo, the celebration of the Mexican victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. To celebrate the culture and history of Mexico, the Nipomo United club will be playing mariachi and banda music on the quad at lunch. Come enjoy the music. Dancing is encouraged, especially by Mr. Veloz!
