General

The library will be closed all day today. After school tutoring is cancelled.

The Just One Job Fair is coming to Nipomo High School. Thursday, May 19 from 3:00 to 4:30 pm, local employers will be available in Olympic Hall to meet students and consider you for a summer job. You must be 16 or older to attend and you must bring copies of your resume to give to prospective employers. For a list of employers see Mrs. Cummings, Mrs. Lemons, Mr. Rodrigues, Mr. Gracia, Mr. Pole, Mr. Lindgren, Mrs. Cooper, or Mr. Magdaleno.

Students, the big moment is finally here! Summer school applications are now available in the counseling office! Classes fill up fast, especially Government and Econ, so turn yours in asap!

T minus 11 days until Prom! Come join us at the Golden Ball. Ticket sales will end May 18th, NO EXCEPTIONS. The cost is $45 with an ASB card and $50 without.

Do you know what you owe? Don’t be ineligible for all the upcoming activities! Check with the Activities Office to make sure your debts are paid.



Clubs and Classes

All Junior Powderpuff players/coaches, there is a mandatory meeting on Friday, May 13th at the beginning of lunch break in the Forum.

Renaissance Scholars are you ready to celebrate? This Friday is the last pool party for you. Remember to bring your swimsuit, an appetite and come to the pool deck after fourth period. See you then and congratulations on your academic achievement!

Reminder to Book Club members…we are having a Potluck lunch in the library Tuesday.

Dance Company auditions are next week! Girls audition Wednesday May 18th or Thursday May 19th and guys audition Friday May 20th. Turn your application into Ms. Belo in the girls locker room or room 103 ASAP!





Calling all NEW Link Crew Club and Class members, there is a mandatory meeting Monday at 7:45am in the gym. Remember to sign up for Remind 101 with the codes at the activity office or in front of room 126 by Friday at 3pm and if you are joining the class you MUST complete your schedule change by Monday morning's training. See you bright and early Monday.

Reach, an original musical created and performed by local talent and students, will be performed this Friday and Saturday night at 7 and Saturday Matinee at 2. Reach takes us on a journey through the eyes of Alexis, a high school senior determined to create a successful future, as she faces the challenges of her senior year. Join us for lots of singing, dancing and honest exploration of what it means to be a teenager today. Tickets are $10 for students (pre-sale) and $2 more at the door. Tickets can be purchased from any cast members or from Mrs. Teixeira in the office.

We are looking for some top juniors to help out with senior activities and graduation...does this sound like you? If so, pick up a Titan Honor Court application from the Activities Office counter. Complete the application and turn it into Mrs. Anderson on or before Wednesday, May 18th. You must be in good academic standing with no D's or F's and have excellent attendance. Questions? Seniors

Attention Seniors attending Grad Night at Harry Potter World. There is a mandatory meeting during lunch today in the forum. We will be assigning busses and going over important information. If you can’t make this meeting, see McConnell in room 113.

If you did not pick up your Jostens order last week, you may pick your order up in the Activities Office.

Community Service

Grover Heights Elementary school is in need of students looking to finish their community service volunteer hours. We have our end of the year celebration with a silent auction on May 20, 2016 from 5-8pm at the Avila Valley Barn. Please contact Tara Warwick at 540-4444 or [email protected] if you would like more info or to help. Students will be helping with check-ins for dinner, Silent Auction and games.

Fairgrove Elementary is looking for volunteers at their annual school Carnival on May 20, 2016 from 3-8 pm if any students who need service hours would like to come help. Contact [email protected] if you are interested.

Hey Titans! Remember that every Friday is Titan Friday, so wear your Titan gear or Titan colors and show your pride!



Athletics Clearance Night for the 2016-17 school year is coming soon! Thursday night, May 19th from 6-8pm in the NHS Gym. Purchase your clearance packets in advance from Mrs. Teixeira at NHS or Ms. Lujano at CCNTHS. $80 for clearance packet with physical night. $45 for clearance packet without clearance night if you are going to your own doctor for physical. Both costs include your ASB Sticker purchase.



All athletes must have clearance to participate in any practices, including summer. Get in and purchase your packet AND come to the clearance night event on May 19.
