Don’t forget to pick up a Renaissance application from Mrs. Lattimer at break or lunch if you qualified last quarter! Be sure to turn it in by September 20th. Congratulations on your academic achievement!

If you haven’t heard, Nipomo is building a skatepark in Nipomo Regional Park. Fundraiser t-shirts are on sale for $15 in the Activities Office.

Calling all Frisbee Fans! We will be playing Ultimate Frisbee today at 3:00 on the athletic field next to the girls’ softball diamond.

Attention Juniors and Seniors! Allan Hancock College is holding their annual Career Exploration Day on Friday, September 30th! Sign up in the counseling office and pick up a permission slip. First students in good academic standing to return permission slips are guaranteed a seat.

Community Service

The Food Bank is starting up for fall and could use your help as a volunteer to distribute the food. There are 5 shifts starting at 1:30 and wrapping up at 6:15. Help is needed with all shifts. The location is Nipomo Elementary School and the date is Tuesday the 13th. See Mrs. Brooks for information on how to sign up.

Need community service hours? Join ECOSLO for Coastal Cleanup Day, taking place on Saturday, September 17th from 9am to noon. For more info, see flyers in the Activities Office.
