General

There’s No Place Like Homecoming Dance will be on Saturday, October 1st. Tickets will go on sale Monday, September 26th through Friday, September 30th at 3:30pm. Prices are $10 with ASB card, $15 without if purchased in advance. Tickets will be $15 with ASB and $20 without ASB at the door.

Homecoming dance guest passes are available in the Activities Office. Fill them out and bring them back to Mrs. Teixeira by September 23rd at 3:30 pm. The Homecoming Dance is October 1st so make sure to turn in your guest passes ASAP.

Teen's Closet is open today from 12-4 in Room 142. Students are welcome during lunch and after school.

After school tutoring is available in the library from 3:00 – 4:00 every Monday – Thursday.

If anyone needs help with their essays, you can get extra help today after school in the library.

Are you behind on credits? Earn 10 elective credits before Thanksgiving by taking Cuesta College's Workplace Readiness class with Mrs. Davis. If you're interested, you MUST ATTEND class Wednesday in Rm 128 at 3:30pm or else the class will be cancelled. For more details, meet with Mrs. Kia, Mr. Hubbell, Mr. Meloncon or Mrs. Davis.

Please wear your higher education gear this Thursday and every Thursday! Higher education includes college, military, and any other educational program after high school. You ARE allowed to wear mascots as long as the name of the organization is visible as well.




Clubs and Classes

Friday Night Live meeting TODAY at lunch in room 126. If you want an opportunity to meet cool people and have a positive impact on YOUR community, stop by and get ready to make a difference. See you for FNL in room 126.

Attention ETS students: There is a workshop today for ALL grades in room 130. If you want to go to college and want to know how ETS can help you get there, stop by room 130. Anyone interested is welcome to attend the workshop. See you all during lunch in room 130.

Not in a club? Join one! This Friday we will be having a Clubfest at lunch in front of the quad. Many clubs will be waiting for you to sign up! See you there.

Upward Bound tutoring starts today, in the library. 3-5 pm. Spring and Summer stipend checks will be available.

Robotics is under way and we need you. Come to room 105 from 3-5:30 for building days on Mondays and Wednesdays and programming days on Tuesdays.

The San Luis Electrical Union is hosting an Open House on Thursday, September 22, 4pm -7pm at 6363 Edna Road in San Luis Obispo. Email Mrs. Davis or stop by her office on Tuesday or Wednesday if you have any questions!

Seniors

Seniors...Are you thinking about taking the SAT one more time? The deadline for the November 5th test is October 7th. Sign up at collegeboard.org. See your counselor for more details.

All seniors who are going to be filling out the FAFSA or the Dream Act application, come to the career center on Mondays, all day, for the Fall semester to see Lizbeth Mendoza from Cal SOAP. Students can make appointments with Mrs. Nunez or Mrs. Lattimer in the counseling office. Both the FAFSA and Dream Act applications open on Oct. 1st.

Sports

Girls Volleyball has a big match against the Morro Bay Pirates this Thursday at 5:30 in the gym. Come on out and sit in the student section with Bryan Tran and company and make some noise to help the Titans sink the Pirates... Arrrrrrr!

All ladies interested in playing softball this school year come to our first informational meeting on Thursday at the beginning of lunch in room 40C.
