It’s Homecoming Week! Today is Which Witch is Which day, Thursday is Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My! day, and Friday is Class Theme day.
Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Tomorrow show off your purrfect animal costumes or just your rawr-some stripes, polka-dots or animal print attire.
Picture Retake Day is Wednesday, October 12th. If you missed the first picture day, make sure you go! Pictures must be on file in order to get an ASB or ID card. Order forms are available in the office lobby and at the Activities Office.
Please wear your higher education gear this Thursday and every Thursday! Higher education includes college, military, and any other educational program after high school. You ARE allowed to wear mascots as long as the name of the organization is visible as well.
Library reminder: Any books checked out from library during the first week or two of school are now past due. Please stop by the library to renew or return your past due library books today. This does not include your textbooks.
The library will be closed Thursday and Friday due to construction. After school tutoring is canceled on Thursday and will resume next Monday.
Come get crafty in the library! After school today we’ll be making Thumb Tack Wall Art in the library from 3-4:30pm. Come relax while you get creative and leave with your very own work of art. All supplies are provided for free and everyone is welcome. Stop by the library for more information.

Clubs and Classes

Due to the library being closed, Project Teen Health Club will be canceled this week and will meet again next Thursday during lunchtime. Please turn in any forms to Mrs. Teixeira in the Activities office.
If you love music, dance, and want to get fit, listen up! Project Teen Health is hosting Zumba Workouts today and every Wednesday after school in Room 103. All levels welcomed!
Juniors and Seniors - CSF applications are now available in Room 138 or with Ms. Cuzick in the front office. There will be an informational meeting in Room 138 on Friday September 30th where we will elect officers.
Seniors
Attention ETS seniors: The senior trip is coming up at the end of this month. If you are interested in visiting UC Riverside, UC Irvine, CSU Dominguez Hills and Loyola Marymount, come to room 130 today during the lunch workshop for more information. We will also continue to work on the Personal Insight Questions if you need assistance. Again, lunch workshop for seniors today in room 130.

All seniors filling out the FAFSA or the Dream Act application, first make an appointment with Mrs. Nunez or Mrs. Lattimer in the counseling office then come to the career center on Mondays, all day, during the Fall semester to see Lizbeth Mendoza from Cal SOAP. Both the FAFSA and Dream Act applications opened on Oct. 1st.
Community Service
The Pismo Beach Chamber of Commerce needs helpers at the 70th Annual Pismo Beach Clam Festival on October 22nd and 23rd to work in the Pismo Chamber Chowder booth. Shifts are 4-7 hours from 10am – 5pm. Duties include serving chowder, handling money and helping customers. If interested, sign up by email to [email protected] or call 773-0539 and ask for Gina.
