NHS Drama is presenting Radium Girls, a riveting play set in 1926 when radium was a miracle cure, Madame Curie an international celebrity, and luminous watches the latest rage—until the girls who painted them began to fall ill with a mysterious disease. Inspired by a true story, Radium Girls traces the efforts of Grace Fryer, a dial painter, as she fights for her day in court. The play will be performed October 20 – 22 at 7:30pm and again October 27 – 29 at 7:30 pm with a 2pm Saturday matinee. Ticket prices are: $6 students/seniors, $8 general admission, and staff $5.

The Pismo Beach Chamber of Commerce needs helpers at the 70th Annual Pismo Beach Clam Festival on October 22nd and 23rd to work in the Pismo Chamber Chowder booth. Shifts are 4-7 hours from 10am – 5pm. Duties include serving chowder, handling money and helping customers. If interested, sign up by email to [email protected] or call 773-0539 and ask for Gina.

Attention Boys Soccer players. Have you had your sports physical? Have you been cleared to play sports this year? If not get it done NOW! Tryouts for the Titans Boys Soccer team will take place Monday, October 31st through Friday, November 4th from 3:30 - 5:00 pm. To help you prepare for tryouts, come to open field training every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 3:30 - 5:00 pm at the soccer fields south of the softball field. To participate in any of these activities you must be cleared by the Athletic Office. For instructions or forms see Mrs. Teixeira in the Activities Office or Coach Veloz in room 115.
