Kindhearted people of Nipomo High School – during this week, teachers and staff will be handing out hearts if they see you being a kind citizen. Turn the hearts you collect in on the quad at lunch to be put into a raffle that will be drawn on Friday, November 18th.
Back by popular demand...Do It Yourself Wands in the library! For those of you who missed out last time, here's your chance. Tomorrow we'll be making wands from 3-4:30pm. Everyone is welcome and it is free. Stop by the library for more info.

Listen up Men! There will be a Young Educated Latino Leaders Conference on Saturday, December 3rd at Hancock College from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The keynote speaker is Carlos Balderas, a U.S. Olympic Team boxer. There will be breakfast burritos, pizza for lunch, motivational speakers and prizes! This conference will empower male high school students to overcome challenges and succeed in both school and life! Sign up for a spot in the counseling office, or see Mr. Hubbell for more details. Seniors, don't forget that Cash for College is coming up tomorrow evening from 4:00 - 8:00 in the NHS library. Students who attend with their parents can complete their FAFSA application that night and possibly receive financial aid to help pay for the cost of college. Remember, students who want to get the Cuesta Promise scholarship must also complete their FAFSA.

Titans! Both your Girls and Boys Cross Country teams have moved on to the CIF Southern Section finals coming up this Saturday in Riverside! Please wish them luck as they try to qualify among the top seven teams to make it to the California State Championship meet!
