Please wear your higher education gear this Thursday and every Thursday! Higher education includes college, military, and any other educational program after high school. You ARE allowed to wear mascots as long as the name of the organization is visible as well.
Reminder - After school tutoring is available in the library from 3:00 to 4:00 every Monday - Thursday. If anyone needs help with their essays, you can get extra help today after school in the library.

Listen up Men! There will be a Young Educated Latino Leaders Conference on Saturday, December 3rd at Hancock College from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The keynote speaker is Carlos Balderas, a U.S. Olympic Team boxer. There will be breakfast burritos, pizza for lunch, motivational speakers and prizes! This conference will empower male high school students to overcome challenges and succeed in both school and life! Sign up for a spot in the counseling office, or see Mr. Hubbell for more details. Join the Project Teen Health Club meeting this Thursday during lunch in the library and receive a free 7 day fitness packet to complete over Thanksgiving break. Those who do complete it will earn a free membership to a local gym! Food will be provided, see you there!

Seniors, don't forget that Cash for College is tonight from 4:00 - 8:00 in the NHS library. Students who attend with their parents can complete their FAFSA application that night and possibly receive financial aid to help pay for the cost of college. Remember, students who want to get the Cuesta Promise scholarship must also complete their FAFSA.
