General

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving break!

Due to construction on the west wing of the Admin building, the Activities Office has been temporarily relocated to room 5.

During this week of kindness, teachers and staff have been handing out hearts to students who were appreciated for being kind citizens. Today at lunch on the quad will be the drawing for the hearts you turned in.

Students! Big Brothers/Big Sisters is looking for volunteers. As a "Big" you would be paired up with a boy or girl from Nipomo Elementary School. On Fridays from 3:30 -4:30 you would go to Nipomo Elementary and hang out with your "Little," play games, do crafts, and be a good role model. Great way to get community service hours, and looks great on a college application, not to mention changing the lives of our local youth for the better. See Mr. Hubbell in the counseling office if you are interested.

Listen up Men! There will be a Young Educated Latino Leaders Conference on Saturday, December 3rd at Hancock College from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The keynote speaker is Carlos Balderas, a U.S. Olympic Team boxer. There will be breakfast burritos, pizza for lunch, motivational speakers and prizes! See Mr. Hubbell for more details. There will be a separate conference just for the young ladies in the spring!
