The Nipomo Food Distribution is on January 10, 2017. Organizing will start at 1:30 and distribution will go until 6:15. Sports
Over Winter break, Boys Wrestling competed at two tournaments and one dual where they beat Morro Bay 43-42 putting boys wrestling at 1-0 in league and 6 - 2 overall. At the Zinkin Classic at Buchanan High School, which is one of the hardest wrestling tournaments in the state, Anthony Lugo took 5th place. At the Nogales Super Champ Tournament at Nogales High School, Jesse Garza took 5th place and Klay Funez was 7th place with the team finishing 15th out of 50 teams.
Boys Wrestling will have a huge match against rivals and defending league champs Santa Maria High on Wednesday the 11th at Santa Maria High. They would love everyone to come support the team on their path to become league champions. Varsity starts at 6!
In Girls Wrestling news, Alex Garcia is now ranked first in the state in her weight class and is 20 -0 this season! Congratulations to Alex!
Boys tennis team practice is starting this week Monday thru Friday, 3-5pm. No experience necessary. See Coach Downey at the tennis courts for details.
