Happy Valentines Day!
In honor of Valentine's Day today, Cherry Flavored Valentine's Suckers will be available in the Titan Store. One Titan Bolt for two Cherry Valentine Suckers--one for you, and one for your special "Valentine." Special, today only! The Titan Bolt Store is located on the quad, around the corner from the Activities Office!
Reminder - After school tutoring is available in the library from 3:00-4:00 every Monday - Thursday.
Teen's Closet is open on Wednesdays from 12-4 in Room 142. Students are welcome during lunch and after school.

All students! Do you want to take a college class for free? Cuesta College will be offering a class called "Introduction to Workplace Readiness" on Mondays and Wednesdays after school beginning February 27th. Students will learn skills to help them find and keep a job, create a resume, and do a mock job interview. Students can earn ten (yes, I said TEN) high school elective credits for taking the course, as well as 3 college units. See your counselor for more details.
Seniors
Go on our scholarship website to check out the many scholarship opportunities out there for graduating seniors. Many scholarships are due soon, so go to nhstitans.org under Academics and click Scholarships OR check your LMUSD email address for more info.
Seniors who are attending Hancock College next year---
Today, representatives from Hancock will return to administer the START Placement Test in English and Math for Hancock. Again, sign up in the counseling Office. You cannot take the Placement Test unless you have registered for Hancock and have an H number. If you have questions, see Mt. Hubbell or Mrs. Kia.
There are 80 Grad Night tickets left. Buy your ticket soon for $85!
Community Service
If you need to accrue some community service hours, please sign up for opportunities to do so on the clipboard outside of Mr. Meloncon's (Mal-lon-san's) office. There are opportunities to work as a food bank volunteer, Tutor for elementary students in Guadalupe, or be a Mentor buddy for an elementary student at a Nipomo area elementary school. Direct any questions to Mr. Meloncon in the counseling dept.

We played our last winter regular season games yesterday evening. Here is where everybody finished and what is going on in relation to CIF.
Boys Basketball = finished in 4th place and ARE IN CIF
Girls Basketball = finished in 3rd place and ARE IN CIF.
Boys Soccer = finished in 5th place, one win short of qualifying for playoffs.
Girls Soccer = finished in 3rd place and ARE IN CIF.
Girls Water Polo = finished in 3rd place and ARE IN CIF.
Boys Wrestling = finished in 2nd place. 11 boys will go to CIF next weekGirls Wrestling = finished in 2nd place. Already competing in CIF. Took 2nd place at Northern Regionals last weekend.
