Attention all awesome public speakers! The Five Cities Optimist Club is sponsoring an Oratorical Competition on Sunday, March 19. The speech topic is "What the World Gains from Optimism." Cash prizes will be awarded and two top winners will move on to the district level with a chance to receive a $2,500 college scholarship! The application deadline is March 3rd. The Cuesta counselors will be here on Monday to help you register for Cuesta, the first step in receiving the Cuesta Promise Scholarship. They will be here from 8:00 -11:00.
