Do YOU know what you owe? The up-to-date Student ASB Debt list is posted in the office and the Activities Office window. Please check the list and take care of your financial obligations as soon as possible.


FFA and ASB have partnered up for Pennies for Patients to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The teacher who has the most money in their box or jar will have to kiss a pig on the quad today!

Attention all awesome public speakers! The Five Cities Optimist Club is sponsoring an Oratorical Competition on Sunday, March 19. The speech topic is "What the World Gains from Optimism." Cash prizes will be awarded and two top winners will move on to the district level with a chance to receive a $2,500 college scholarship! The application deadline is March 3rd. See Mrs. Carter in the office for details.

It is time to apply for CSF again. Sophomores, this is your first opportunity to apply. If you had mostly A's and B's fall semester you might be eligible. Please pick up an application in Room 138.

Hey there Smart Stuff! If you applied for Renaissance, don’t forget that today is the day to pick up your card as well as your “treat yourself”. Come out to the quad at lunch to receive your gifts. See you there!

All students! Do you want to take a college class for free? Cuesta College will be offering a class called "Introduction to Workplace Readiness" on Mondays and Wednesdays after school beginning February 27th. See your counselor for more details.

Calling all Frisbee fans…We will be playing Ultimate Frisbee today at 3:00 on the athletic fields next to the girls’ softball diamond. Bring water, running shoes and a desire to run!


Seniors

Seniors! Are you going to Cuesta College next year? Remember, the Cuesta Promise Scholarship will pay for ALL of your tuition and fees for your first year! Free College? Yep! The Cuesta counselors will be here on Monday to help you register for Cuesta, the first step in receiving the Cuesta Promise Scholarship. They will be here from 8:00 -11:00. Stop by the counseling office to sign up for a spot. Make sure you know or have your social security number with you if you want to sign up! Go Cuesta Cougars!

Many scholarships are due soon, so go to nhstitans.org under Academics and click Scholarships OR check your LMUSD email address for more info.

There are currently 75 tickets left for Grad Night at Universal Studios. Get yours soon for $85 in the Activities Office.

Seniors! The Hancock Counselors will be here this Saturday for the Academic Advising Workshop at 9:00. Sign Up in the counseling office if you haven't already! Remember--Free food from Efren's Mexican Restaurant for all who attend. This is a very important step to make sure you get priority registration for your Hancock classes next year!
