About Me
Me convertí en un maestro para que más personas tuvieran las oportunidades que tenía. También creo que todos tienen potencial en las matemáticas, solo lo necesita desbloquear. Tal es mi propósito. Estoy orgulloso de servir la comunidad de Nipomo por aportar mi experiencia diversa a mi enseñeza.
I became a teacher so that more people would have the many opportunities that I did. I also believe that everyone has the potential to do math, it just needs to be unlocked—and that's my aim. I am proud to serve the Nipomo community and bring my diverse background to bear on teaching.
Vivo en Los Osos con my esposa, Lara, mi hijo Asher (9) y mi hija, Dinah (8). Tenemos dos perros, Boris y Hobbes.
I live in Los Osos with my wife, Lara, my son Asher (9), my daughter, Dinah (8). We have two dogs, Boris and Hobbes.
I also believe that learning a second language is a valuable skill that opens the doors to new worlds and careers. The state of the art in language education is to teach students high-frequency vocabulary with computer assisted strategies, to use mass-sentence translation, and oral/aural interactions.
